Benign anorectal conditions are very commonly encountered in clinical practice. The issues include a multitude of conditions and affect millions of people worldwide. In fact, anorectal conditions are not only encountered by proctologists, colon and rectal surgeons, but also by general surgeons and primary care physicians.
Anorectal region is a complex anatomical structure, with multiple potential disease conditions. Hence, an in-depth understanding of the anatomy and physiology of this region, along with the common and uncommon conditions, is fundamental for a treating clinician. Furthermore, keeping updated with recent advances in techniques and procedures to treat these conditions is necessary but cumbersome in the busy schedules of clinicians.
This carefully designed course will ensure a deeper understanding of the basics as well as practical aspects of treating benign anorectal and colorectal conditions, including the procedures, techniques and complications. The course comprises of online lectures by the course faculty, followed by online observation of frequently performed anorectal procedures.

Online pre-informed streaming of Laparoscopic Surgeries will be arranged for candidates during their contact sessions. The candidates are required to attend & observe the surgeries from their place online and get their queries answered online.
At the end of all modules, candidate will spend 1 week at Zen Hospital, Mumbai as an internship during which he will be allowed to wash up in surgeries and observe cases.
This program will have 2 online summative assessments:
- The first assessment will be on completion of Module 1 and 2.
- The second assessment will be on completion of Module 3 and 4.
A 'Certificate of Achievement' will be issued by Zen Multispeciality Hospital on successful completion of assessments with a minimum score of 70% mark.

All assessments are online and MCQ based. Successful completion of which will make you eligible for certification.
The final online test will be unlocked as soon as you complete all the lectures. It will only be available for total of 12 weeks from your date of joining the course.
